Vassal
Thifluzamide 24% SC
Vassal is a systemic fungicide that belongs to the pyridinylmethylamine chemical group. It offers broad-spectrum control against a range of fungal pathogens by inhibiting the mitochondrial respiration of fungi, effectively preventing their growth and reproduction.
Mode Of Action
Thifluzamide inhibits fungal mitochondrial respiration by targeting the succinate dehydrogenase (SDH) enzyme in the electron transport chain. This disrupts energy production, leading to the inhibition of fungal growth and eventual pathogen death.
Key Feautres and Benefits:
• Disrupts energy production in fungi, leading to growth inhibition and pathogen death
• Offers systemic protection, ensuring long-lasting disease control and reduced reinfection
• Reduces fungicide resistance risk with its unique mode of action
• It is rapidly absorbed by roots and leaves and translocated in xylem and apoplast throughout the plant.
