Chlorpyriphos 50% EC +  Cypermethrin 5% EC

It is a combination of insecticide of two active ingredients, Chlorpyrifos and Cypermethrin. The former belongs to the organophosphorus group and the latter is a synthetic pyrethroid.

Mode Of Action

Chlorpyrifos affects the nervous system by inhibiting the breakdown of acetylcholine {Ach),  a neurotransmitter that leads   to neurotoxicity   and eventually  death. Cypermethrin acts as  a   stomach  and  contact                                          

 It also exhibits antifed action.

• Being a broad spectrum, it affords control over all sucking, biting, chewing pests.

• Due to a higher persistence  value, it remains  effective for a long duration.

• More resistance to washing off due to rain water.

• less waiting period between last spray and harvest.

• Mainly  used for the control of bollworm, thrips, shoot & fruit borer, beetles in various agricultural crops like cotton, okra, brinjal.

• Shows repellent properties due to fumigant action.
