Mitsu Plus is a broad-spectrum, pre- and post-emergence herbicide from the sulfonylurea class, formulated to control a wide range of broadleaf and grassy weeds in transplanted and direct seeded rice.
Mode Of Action
Metsulfuron methyl 10% + Chlorimuron ethyl 10% WP acts by inhibiting the acetolactate synthase (ALS) enzyme, which is crucial for the synthesis of essential amino acids (valine, leucine, and isoleucine) in target weeds. This inhibition disrupts protein production, leading to stunted growth, chlorosis, and eventual plant death.
