Metabuzole is a highly effective, selective herbicide used for the control of a broad spectrum of weeds in various crops, including potatoes, tomatoes, soybeans, and other vegetables. This water-dispersible powder formulation provides excellent pre- and post-emergence control of both broadleaf and grassy weeds.
Mode Of Action
Metribuzin 70% WP is a selective herbicide that inhibits photosynthesis in target plants. It specifically disrupts the photosystem II (PSII) complex, blocking the electron transport chain during the light reactions of photosynthesis. This leads to the accumulation of toxic byproducts within plant cells, causing oxidative stress, leaf chlorosis, and eventual plant death.
