Emamectin Benzoate 5% SG
Belongs the ivermectin group of insecticides. It protects plants from feeding damage within a few hours of application. It is good for controlling Lepidoptera such as bollworms in cotton and fruit and shoot borers in okra.
Mode Of Action
It is a non-systemic insecticide which penetrates leaf tissues by trans
laminar movement. It acts by stimulating the release of amino butyric acid, an inhibitory neurotransmitter, thus finally activating the chloride channel. It controls the range of larval instars through contact activity.
It rapidly absorbs into foliage, has trans-laminar movement & shows immediate paralysis on ingestion.
