Mode Of Action

Tebuconazole is a systemic triazole fungicide classified under FRAC Group 3. It inhibits the C14-demethylase enzyme, disrupting ergosterol biosynthesis in fungal membranes. This leads to impaired cell development, offering both preventive and curative action.

Captan is a broad-spectrum contact fungicide under FRAC Group M04. It acts through multi-site inhibition by deactivating thiol-containing fungal enzymes. This disrupts key metabolic functions, preventing spore germination and fungal growth.
