Boxster is a pre-emergence, broad-spectrum herbicide belonging to the Chloroacetamide group, designed to control a wide range of weeds in rice. It is primarily absorbed by the germinating shoots and, to a lesser extent, by the roots, with translocation throughout the plant, ensuring efficient and long-lasting weed control.
Mode Of Action
Pretilachlor 50% EC inhibits acetyl-CoA carboxylase (ACCase), blocking fatty acid biosynthesis essential for cell membrane formation. This disrupts cell division and growth, providing effective pre-emergence control of grassy and broadleaf weeds in rice.
