Mode Of Action
Bispyribac sodium 10% SC is a systemic herbicide that works by inhibiting the acetolactate synthase (ALS) enzyme, which is essential for the synthesis of branched-chain amino acids (valine, leucine, and isoleucine) in plants. This disruption prevents protein production, leading to stunted growth, chlorosis, and eventual death of susceptible weeds.
