Abatoxis a broad-spectrum insecticide and miticide from the avermectin group, designed to control a wide range of pests, including mites and insects. Formulated as an emulsifiable concentrate (EC), it provides effective protection against both foliar and soil-dwelling pests.
Mode Of Action
Abamectin 1.9% EC works by binding to glutamate-gated chloride channels in the nervous system of insects and mites. This binding increases the permeability of cell membranes to chloride ions, causing hyperpolarization and disruption of neural transmission. As a result, affected pests experience paralysis and death.
