Trixx (Cartap Hydrochloride 4% GR)

Trixx is a granular formulation of Cartap, an insecticide used to control a wide range of pests in agricultural crops, particularly in rice cultivation. It effectively targets insect pests like the rice water weevil, stem borer, and leaf folder, providing reliable protection to crops.

Mode of Action:

Cartap Hydrochloride 4% GR acts as a contact and stomach insecticide. It is a selective acetylcholinesterase (AChE) inhibitor, disrupting the nervous system of insect pests. When insects ingest or come into contact with Cartap, the inhibition of AChE leads to the accumulation of acetylcholine at nerve synapses, causing continuous nerve firing, paralysis, and ultimately death of the pest.
